It’s been a couple of years since Cordae unveiled his debut LP The Lost Boy, a 15-track offering that saw collaborations with Meek Mill, Arin Ray, Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson .Paak, and Chance The Rapper. That same year also saw Cordae joining the likes of DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Tierra Whack, and Blueface as a member of XXL’s highly coveted Freshman class.

Since then, the DMV-based star has used his talents somewhat sparingly — he did release two well-received singles, “The Parables” and “Gifted” with Roddy Ricch, last year. He also contributed to dope cuts from his peers, including H.E.R.’s “Racks,” Stevie Wonder’s “Can’t Put It In The Hands of Fate,” DJ Scheme’s “Soda,” and the “Godfather of Harlem” standout “In These Streets.” Today, he adds to that with a new body of work titled Just Until…, which sees four tracks and a couple of assists from Q-Tip and Young Thug.

Added to the EP release is a video for “More Life,” which takes the viewer through Cordae’s Maryland stomping grounds, including his old apartment and high school. The clip is a perfect match to Cordae’s bars about past struggles and current success:

“I ain’t dropped a song in a year, my fans is happy to wait, designer music, turned my album in fashionably late, but, damn, the timing perfect, my last classic was dedicated to finding purpose, still don’t think that I get the credit that I’m deserving/

But last week, we was just hooping with Kyrie Irving, I been focusing on things that seem not as urgent, like staying true to my core, these basic things they saying you should ignore, who could afford the price of fame?/”
