The world got sad news on Thursday (Dec. 31) when it was discovered that rapper MF DOOM passed away at the age of 49. His wife, Jasmine, was the person who revealed his passing by posting about it on the now late recording artist’s Instagram account.
Along with a photo of DOOM, she shared the news on the IG feed. “To Dumile,” her note began. “The greatest husband, father, teacher, student, business partner, lover and friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for all the things you have shown, taught and given to me, our children and our family. Thank you for teaching me how to forgive beings and give another chance, not to be so quick to judge and write off.”
The message continued: “Thank you for showing how not to be afraid to love and be the best person I could ever be. My world will never be the same without you. Words will never express what you and Malachi mean to me, I love both and adore you always. May THE ALL continue to bless you, our family and the planet. All my Love Jasmine.”
According to the post, DOOM actually passed away on Oct. 31 of this year. It looks like Jasmine didn’t want to bring in the new year without alerting the rapper’s fans that he was no longer here in the physical form, thus breaking the news two months after his death.
