Last October, Young Adz and Dirtbike LB — collectively known as D-Block Europe — released their debut LP The Blue Print – Us Vs. Them, a 29-track offering that saw additional appearances from Stefflon Don, Aitch, Raye, Lil Pino, and Srno. This week, fans get to check out a new visual from the project for “Big B,” a solo effort from Adz that sees him harmonizing about his street roots:
“Rolling ‘round humble but G’d up, boy, I got my game from big B, yeah, I done seen the boy go agains the grain, pull up, whole coupe turned Swiss cheese, yeah, I’m in a Jeep with my white boy talking ‘bout corn and broccoli, young boys on go, I can’t mislead/
Bentley Bentayga, a big B, one thousand and six, that’s a big B, I gave game to the little bro, he re-ing on a brick now, I told him “Don’t celebrate”, yeah…/”
Directed by Suave, the black-and-white clip for “Big B” begins with a quick-strike lessons on drugs before revealing individuals in the process of feeding their addictions. Meanwhile, Young Adz can be seen rapping his lyrics around them and riding around in a high-end whip.
In addition to D-Block Europe aforementioned drop, last year also saw Young Adz teaming up with North London stars Skepta and Chip for the group body of work Insomnia, which saw 12 cuts and a single appearance from Dirtbike LB. That project proved to be somewhat successful throughout Europe, and landed within the top three of the UK Albums chart during its first week of release. In addition to his and his groups’ work, Adz could also be heard providing infectious hooks and verses for songs by RAYE, Headie One and Fredo, among others.
