Young Rog has tapped in with Summer Walker to debuted the visual for their newest single, “Bullshit.” Directed by Mac Grant, with creative direction by Burn & Broad, the video shows a pair dealing with disagreement, with both artists placing their energy on display as Summer delivers her verse:
I really wish you’d hear me from a different sidе, but there’s no tellin’ you nothing bеcause you always right/ ‘Cause I know that I’m right about what I seen last night, and if you seen what I seen, then you’d know why I’m leavin’/ Won’t burn your clothe or bust your windows out your car, ‘cause I ain’t fuckin’ up the shit you know I bought. Far from who you got me confused with, and I blocked your number ‘cause you still on that bullshit.
“Bullshit” was produced by Young Rog himself and will appear on his forthcoming project, Boy Next Door. Hailing from Newport News, VA with Bajan roots, rapper-singer Young Rog first gained traction in 2014 through Soundcloud where he frequently uploaded his self-produced early work. In 2018, Young Rog signed to WAVER, a label owned by fellow Virginia rapper, Shelley fka DRAM, and Love Renaissance (LVRN) in Atlanta.
Summer Walker’s last full-length release was her Over It project, which has experienced immense success since its release, containing the platinum-certified single “Come Thru” and the double-platinum hit “Playing Games.” The latter has spent 20 weeks on the Hot 100. Over It has spent 49 weeks in the top 40 and 56 weeks in the top 50 on the Billboard 200 Album chart. In July, Walker’s EP, Life on Earth, debuted inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200 at No. 8.
