21 Savage took to Twitter to set the record straight after he recently purchased a brand new Range Rover for King Von’s sister, Kayla B.
The Savage Mode II emcee posted the message after people began speculating and assuming things that were not true. “I never speak on stuff like this because I don’t do it for the internet, but y’all being disrespectful,” he wrote. “I knew Kayla before I knew Von because she talks to my little brother. Von was already planning on purchasing the gift for her birthday and due to his untimely passing, he wasn’t able to finish, so all I did was finish what he started because I told Kayla when he passed I had her 4L and I meant it.”
He then shut down all the rumors that people were spreading about his act of kindness. “All the immature comments and speculations surrounding this are very insensitive,” 21 continued. “Please keep them to yourself. Respect to his family, his children, O’Block, OTF and anybody else I left out. LONG LIVE KING VON!!!”
On Friday (Nov. 20), Kayla took to Instagram to show her followers the new car. “2021 PAID FA WITH 21 ROSES!” she captioned the post. “NOBODY EVA BOUGHT ME ROSES! I LOVE MY BIG BROTHER @21savage. #REALNIGGAFRRRRR 4L.”
She also said her brother had planned to buy her a new car before he was killed. “Von was about to sneak & buy me a car before he passed and look my brother still made sure I got it,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
Von was fatally shot after getting into a physical altercation with Quando Rondo and his crew outside of Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge. A day after the shooting, authorities arrested 22-year-old Timothy Leeks and charged him with murder.
