Lil Baby’s My Turn album has rounded its fourth consecutive week at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. According to Billboard, this puts the Atlanta artist on the same footing as The Weeknd, whose After Hours album also spent four weeks at the coveted top spot. Both Lil Baby and The Weeknd are now tied for the longest-charting No. 1 albums of the year so far.

Last week, REVOLT reported that Lil Baby’s My Turn had received a boost in sales following his protest anthem “The Bigger Picture.” The single peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — his highest-charting song ever — and confronted police brutality amidst ongoing reform efforts. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, My Turn received 70,000 equivalent album units last week.

Recently, Lil Baby dropped off his My Turn (Deluxe) edition, which housed an extra collaboration with 42 Dugg and six new tracks. The initial version of My Turn scored the rapper his first No. 1 album after he dropped it back in March.

“Numbers ain’t really that important,” Lil Baby told Billboard prior to the feat. “They are when you go No. 1, but for the most part, don’t try to think about the numbers. Just try to go as hard as you can go.”

As for new music, the “Emotionally Scarred” artist has previously teased an upcoming mixtape titled Lamborghini Boys. However, the project was put on hold following the Coronavirus outbreak.

“Ima hold up on Lamborghini Boys Until We Bacc Outside!” Lil Baby confirmed on Twitter back in April.

Besides his charting accolades, Lil Baby has also used this time to give back to his home city of Atlanta and contribute to police reform efforts. So far, he’s earned praise from Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms and City Councilman Antonio Brown for his local activism.
