Dreamville’s well-received Revenge Of The Dreamers III continues to produce dope, fun visuals for fans to enjoy. Following Cozz, REASON, and Childish Major’s visual for “LamboTruck” comes a new clip for “Don’t Hit Me Right Now,” which sees Bas and Cozz collaborating with Buddy, Yung Baby Tate, and Guapdad 4000. Produced by Galimatias, the posse cut centers around telling a sexual partner not to bother them while their working on their respective crafts:
“I got the chopper, it sing like opera, I make it swoon the b***h, they know my name, when I’m swerving lanes they still ask who that is/
She on the molly at the house party, hope she don’t play the kid, can’t hit my phone, I’m on airplane mode, I’m still on two percent/
Don’t hit me right now, don’t hit me right now, don’t hit me right now…/”
Released last Summer, Revenge Of The Dreamers III saw the Dreamville mob — including J. Cole, Bas, Cozz, Ari Lennox, J.I.D, and Earthgang — teaming up with their favorite peers, including DaBaby, T.I., Young Nudy, REASON, Maxo Kream, Ski Mask the Slump God, 6LACK, Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, Saba, and more. The compilation proved to be fruitful for the collective, landing at number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 115,000 album equivalent units sold. This past January, they added to the project with a Director’s Cut, which added an additional 12 tracks to the collection. Speaking to Earmilk, Dreamville artist Omen spoke on Revenge Of The Dreamers III’s success:
“I didn’t really have expectations, so I was satisfied with the music. But with the album going Gold, going number #1 those were all a crazy bonus because I didn’t see it coming. I felt it being there
during the recording but I feel it more now, that I was a part of a historic moment for hip-hop.”
