Last month, Ari Lennox delivered a remix EP of songs from her official debut Shea Butter Baby, which saw new collaborations with Doja Cat, Smino, and Durand Bernarr. Today, the D.C. songstress returns with a new visual for “BUSSIT,” a track that can be found on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director’s Cut compilation.

The clip shows the artist and her crew in a salon and spa, giving off amazing energy that matches perfectly with the song’s come hither message:

“Said have off my clothes when you arrive, you could seduce me with your eye/

Don’t want the smoke, don’t waste my time, I’ll be open for you/

Work out my spine, I need you near, you scared of love, but f*** your fear/

Ain’t no gettin’ away from this if you wanted to…/”

The Brilliant Mack and Dijon Stylez-produced cut is one of many contributions from Ari Lennox on the aforementioned Dreamville project, which also saw appearances from her other crew members — including J. Cole, Bas, Reason, JID, and Cozz — alongside fellow peers DaBaby, Smino, Vince Staples, Saba, T.I., Buddy, Young Nudy, and more.

Unfortunately, Ari Lennox spent her 29th birthday in quarantine, thanks to the current Coronavirus epidemic. Recently, she joined Kehlani, Ebro Darden, and Zane Lowe for an in-home Beats 1 session, where she spoke on what she’s been up to. Her fans will be happy to hear that this has included creating some new tunes during her down time:

“With everything that’s happening, we want to put music out. Cause, like… I don’t know, I want to give a little bit of happiness to the world.”
