Last week saw the release of NAV’s latest album Good Intentions, which, according to Hits Daily Double, is expected to make somewhere between 70 to 75 thousand equivalent album units sold. The original drop sees 18 tracks and features from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, the late Pop Smoke, and more. Today, the Canadian star liberates a Deluxe version of the album — dubbed as Brown Boy 2 — which contains 14 additional tracks featuring the likes of Quavo and Lil Duke.

One standout from the updated release is the JetsonMade and Tay Keith-produced cut “I’m Up,” which acts as a quick reminder to those who aren’t aware of NAV’s success:

“I don’t give a f***, I’m up, I crashed my Lambo’ truck four times, shout out Lil Durk, my hitters got sticks like RondoNumbaNine/

I done got rich, my Rollie don’t tick-tock, but it still tell the time, f***in’ your b***h in Louis V flip-flops, tryna blow out her spine/

F***girl stallin’, you ain’t gettin’ in, don’t waste my time, tryna slow down, tryna chill, but nothin’ but work on my mind/

Baby, I’m ballin’, pop another X and go overtime, she won’t stop callin’, gotta block her number, get off my line…/”

Earlier this year, he delivered the infectious single “Turks,” which features Young Thug and Gunna and was produced by Wheezy. Last year, he earned his first number one on the Billboard 200 with his second studio LP Bad Habits, thanks to earning some 82,000 equivalent album units sold.

Speaking to Complex, NAV spoke on both the positive and negative feedback he receives, and how it fuels him moving forward:

“The lyrical content [of ‘Brown Boy’] I get from my comments. I saw one that I responded to yesterday where someone was reacting to me having Pop Smoke on the album… They said, ‘How the f*** does he always pull this kind of shit off?’ and I responded, “Because of people like you.’”
