Scarface is speaking candidly about his experience with COVID-19 following his diagnosis last month.
During his conversation with Willie D, the Houston rapper detailed the changes he’s undergone since testing positive for Coronavirus. He also revealed that he has been placed on dialysis, which is a treatment that removes excess water and toxins from the body due to kidney failure.
“I fought the COVID, double bilateral pneumonia and kidney failure, all in my house. This my new lifeline,” he said in reference to dialysis. “I gotta change my entire diet. I gotta do dialysis four times a week, three hours a day. That’s taking all of my blood out, cleaning it, and putting it back in my body. Before the COVID, I never had kidney problems.”
Last month, Scarface revealed that he “felt like he was going to die” while experiencing his COVID-19 symptoms, which included nausea, loss of appetite and more.
“You know, like this whole three weeks have been an ordeal, Will,” Scarface said at the time. “Like it’s the craziest s—t I’ve ever done and seen in my life. I’ve been to the point where I just felt like I was going to die, bro. I threw up so much until it was just hot sauce. Like your gasses and the s—t in your stomach, your acids. I didn’t have any food in my stomach. It was just coming up like bile bro.”
He added, “It started off with pneumonia in both of my lungs and three or four days later my kidneys failed. Three or four days after that they told me I am quarantined.”
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected a handful of people. Last week, Fred the Godson lost his battle to Coronavirus after opening up about his diagnosis earlier this month. Take a look at Scarface’s health update below.
