Congrats are in order for Cardi B and Offset, who have just become parents to a new baby boy! On Monday (Sept. 6), Cardi took to Instagram to reveal that she and her husband have officially welcomed their newborn into the world.
The revelation came in the form a picture, which captured the two parents as they stared lovingly into the eyes of the baby, who is wrapped up in a blue blanket. The caption of the photo included the infant’s birthday — Sept. 4, 2021 — and a blue heart, which suggests the bundle of a joy is a baby boy.
News of Cardi and Offset’s second pregnancy spread back in June after the Bronx emcee joined Migos on stage at the BET Awards 2021 and showed off her baby bump during a performance of their recent hit, “Type Shit.” Following her surprise announcement, she expressed her excitement about expecting baby No. 2.
“No. 2! We listened to each other, communicated, prayed and then God blessed us and our family with another little blessing,” she announced on Instagram. “Our home feels so blissful and very busy, but we are ready and so happy.”
The arrival of Cardi and Offset’s newborn comes nearly three years after the birth of their first child, Kulture Kiari, who previously posed alongside her mother during a pregnancy photo shoot. “I just know these two will love each other soo much and argue soo much since they’re three years apart,” the “Up” emcee wrote of her children’s future bond. “But one thing for sure is they’ll have each other’s back like no one else ever will.”
Aside from big sister Kulture, the married couple’s son is also blessed to have three half siblings in Offset’s daughter Kalea and sons Kody and Jordan from previous relationships.
