Migos kept the energy going Sunday evening (June 27) at the BET Awards 2021. The three Atlanta rap stars kicked off their performance on a fiery set with “Straightenin,” a front runner and promotional single from their recently released album, Culture III.
However, the artist to steal the show ended up being Grammy-winning rapper and Offset’s wife, Cardi B, who sported a black mesh jumpsuit and… a baby bump! Fans reacted on Twitter while the Bronx-born star rapped “Type Shit” with Migos and debuted her pregnant belly.
Cardi and Offset have a daughter, Kulture, who was born in 2018. Cardi also announced her pregnancy on Instagram writing, “#2!” and tagging Offset. Earlier this month, the Invasion Of Privacy artist wished Offset a happy Father’s Day on social media.
“Happy Father’s Day daddy shark [Offset],” she wrote. “You’re such a[n] amazing father and you really bussing your ass for your kids now and future. I hope you enjoy your day today.”
Recently, REVOLT reported that Cardi has been tapped to appear in the next Fast & Furious film, F10. The 28-year-old debuted in the franchise on Friday (June 25) in the long-awaited and highly anticipated F9.
Migos was nominated for the Best Group Award at the BET Awards 2021. The honor ultimately ended up going to Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s Silk Sonic, but the trio’s performance did not disappoint. Migos continue to reap the rewards from Culture III, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Last week, they re-upped the effort with a deluxe version, which added five new tracks.
“We not just doing one verse and one verse — we’re switching it up,” Offset previously told Billboard about Culture III. “We doing things other people can’t do because we the only group. We got creative with our flows, so we could stamp another [movement]. We feel like we gonna lead the pack with this album.”
