T.I. wants Instagram to stop “bullying” Boosie after this page was taken down once again.
On Wednesday (Sept. 29), the Paper Trail emcee shared a screenshot of Boosie’s tweet, where he spoke about his page being deactivated from the social network platform. “But why Dey keep fcckin wit woe?” TIP captioned the post. “Can’t they see The culture has spoken & has appointed him as our Official Representative of Cultural Authenticity??? Disrespect to him is disrespect to US‼️ #FreeDaRep #StopBullyingBoosie.”
T.I.’s post came after Boosie revealed that his Instagram page was taken down again. On Tuesday (Sept. 28), the Louisian native took to Twitter to reveal the news and ask his fans to purchase his new biopic titled My Struggle.
“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHNG AGAIN,” he tweeted. “THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT IM PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. YALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE. BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS THANKS.”
Last year, Boosie’s original Instagram page was deleted after he reportedly broke the platform’s nudity policy. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper blamed the ban on racism and called out Instagram for allowing other celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, to show nudity on the site.
Over the summer, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to explain why Boosie was banned from the app. “You’ve gotta draw the line somewhere,” he explained. “It’s a nudity policy. We try to be clear. You can appeal, but if you have too many strikes, something will happen.”
Ultimately, Boosie made another page and had been in the clear for several months, until recently, when he started to promote his biopic. “THEY SAW ME REACH OUT TO DRAKE FOR HELP SMH. GO BUY MY MOVIE 3 TIMES. FUCK THESE PEOPLE,” he tweeted.
