Teen entrepreneur Trey Brown has just leveled up again, as it’s being reported that the Philadelphia native has just taken another pivotal step and expanding his growing empire.

In a report Baller Alert posted on Thursday (June 10), it’s explained that Brown, who is the founder of the boutique clothing collection SPERGO, recently opened up his second clothing store. This one is located in Washington, D.C.’s Pentagon City Mall. The first physical store he opened was in Philadelphia. He opened it after Diddy gave him a $25,000 grant after they appeared together on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” last year.

During the appearance, Diddy surprised Brown when he popped up with him in front of a green screen and offered up words of encouragement. Through their conversation, it was clear they shared a spirit of entrepreneurship. Now, Brown is only continuing his rise.

The new store, which officially opened last month, is just the latest sign of Brown’s business acumen being rewarded. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Brown founded SPERGO with $178 he got as a gift for his 12th birthday back in 2018. By 2019, he’d sold $40,000 worth of the clothing. Now, his mother expects the brand to earn $2 million this year. Brown also says that he’s signed a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers’ Buy Black program, which is an initiative to help support local Black businesses.

“I started SPERGO three years ago, and I would never have imagined that I would be officially stamped a 76ers partner by my home basketball team,” Brown said about the deal, according to Baller Alert.
