Rico Nasty is speaking out about being mistreated in several cities on Playboi Carti’s King Vamp Tour. In a series of tweets on Saturday (Nov. 27), Rico shared what it’s been like for her opening up for the Whole Lotta Red rapper. “I dead ass need atleast two hours out of each day. To just cry,” she tweeted. “Crazy how I wanted a tour bus my whole life and now I just be on the tour bus crying myself to sleep every night.”
“I wish I was dead just as much as y’all do trust me…Y’all win,” she wrote, alongside a trophy emoji in her tweet. The disturbing tweets arrive one day after Carti’s King Vamp Tour made a stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Eagles Ballroom. On Sunday (Nov. 27), Rico is slated to open for Carti at the Family Arena in Saint Charles, Missouri.
While the 24-year-old Maryland-native did not mention being disrespected in Wisconsin, she has been vocal about how fans have treated her during earlier stops on the tour. As REVOLT reported, Rico was targeted weeks ago by hostile concertgoers who attended the Portland, Oregon show. A viral video from her performance captured the moment when someone in the crowd threw a bottle at Rico. “Come get this nigga. Who? Who, bitch? Who the fuck was it?” Rico asked before jumping into the crowd to find out herself. “Be specific, don’t fucking play. Who was it? Who the fuck was it? Where they go? Somebody come get this…”
In Los Angeles, cell phone concert footage showed audience members booing Rico and chanting for Carti. “This is what the fuck we gon’ do for you disrespectful muthafuckas out there. Bitch, we gon’ sit in muthafuckin’ silence,” she screamed in response. “Don’t you fucking play. What you think this is? It’s not that.”
“This is fucking lame,” she continued. “He doesn’t even know you guys.” The next day on Twitter, Rico wrote, “Anti black ass crowd. Weak ass little boys wit blonde pubes. Ugh. Get me out of here.” City Girls’ JT offered her support at the time tweeting, “I want them to stop disrespecting her that shit not cool! Or nothing to laugh about!!!!!!” Metro Boomin, Anime, Coi Leray and Dojo Cat have each expressed their grievances regarding the bullying Rico has recently endured. Doja Cat took to Tik Tok to show her support for her “Tia Tamera” collaborator writing, “They don’t even deserve to be witnessing my bitch live. Bunch of fucking low-life ass bitches.”
