French Montana has responded after fans poked fun at the rapper’s discography while referencing the popular new Netflix series, “Squid Game.” On Monday (Oct. 25), a Twitter user challenged others on the platform to “name five French Montana songs without features” as a mock spinoff of the South Korean survival drama series, which centers around contestants playing deadly games for a chance to win billions of dollars.

Montana is known for being a hit-making collaborator. Some of the 36-year-old spitter’s biggest collaborated tracks have included 2017’s “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee, “No Stylist” with Drake, “Pop That,” “Loyal,” “All the Way Up,” “Freaks” and more.

As such, fans made jokes about not being able to name any of Montana’s solo hits with some accepting their “Squid Game” fate for failing the challenge. “So this is it huh,” one person jokingly tweeted.

However, it was Montana who had the last laugh. The Coke Boys Records founder got in on the viral joke and commented on the tweet, offering up the names of 14 of his solo songs. A few of the tracks listed included 2013’s “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’,” “Sanctuary,” “Don’t Panic,” “Famous,” “Shot Caller,” “What It Look Like,” “Water” and “I’m So Special.”

After making his point, Montana added, “Now eat a dick. I’m dropping a solo track this week.”

The South Bronx native has shared several songs this year, including the solo track “FWMGAB” in June. He also recently landed on Soulja Boy’s “She Make It Clap (Remix)” and shared the video for his and Fivio Foreign’s “Lit Bitch” featuring Chinese Kitty. Back in April, Montana appeared with Swizz Beatz and the late DMX on “Been to War” for the “Godfather of Harlem” soundtrack.
