Boosie’s Instagram account has been deactivated and the Louisiana-bred emcee sent out a message to Mark Zuckerberg asking for his account to be reinstated.
“They just took my Instagram,” Boosie said in a video. “Mark Zuckinberger, I need to talk to you. Bosses need to talk to bosses. I don’t know what I did, but I need my Instagram back. I don’t even know what I did, but this is how I feed my family. Mark, do not do this to 2020. Do not take Boosie off Instagram! We need to talk, Mark.”
Since the pandemic began, many artists have not been able to make income from performances. Recently, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper has used his Instagram to promote local businesses to bring in some extra income. HotNewHipHop reports that he also struck a deal with several restaurants to help them gain new customers.
According to TMZ, the top Facebook officials said that his account was disabled for “repeatedly violating policies.” Recently, Boosie shared posts promoting his OnlyFans account on the app.
Some fans on social media think that Boosie should not get his Instagram account back, due to the inappropriate videos and posts that he has shared in the past. He has used profanity and some of the women have reportedly shown nudity during his Instagram Live videos.
Twitter user @thereal_shampoo tweeted, “Boosie on Instagram: ‘Put ya p*ssy lips on Live, I’ll give you a thousand dollars.’ Also Boosie: ‘I don’t know what I did but you can’t take my Instagram away Mark Zuckerburger.’”
“Boosie singlehandedly violated damn near every Instagram policy and now he want special treatment lol,” social media user @whoissizzle tweeted.
Other fans have taken to social media to ask the owners of Instagram to restore his page. Should Boosie get his Instagram account back? Check out his plea to Zuckerberg in the video below.
