Pusha T and his wife Virginia Williams have welcomed their first child, Nigel Brixx Thornton. On Monday (June 15), Pusha shared the good news on Instagram, revealing that Virginia had given birth to their son last Thursday (June 11).

“NIGEL BRIXX THORNTON. JUNE 11 2020,” Push wrote alongside two pictures of the adorable newborn. Virginia also shared a photo of Pusha and Nigel together.

The couple first announced they were expecting their first child together back in December with a holiday card shared on social media.

“Happy holidays. Baby T coming spring 2020,” the virtual card read.

Virginia also shared a sonogram photo during her pregnancy on Instagram.

“Finally landed my dream job,” she captioned the picture. “World, make way for BABY THORNTON! Arriving Gemini season 2020!! WE ARE OVER THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!”

The couple tied the knot back in 2018 at a star-studded wedding ceremony, which took place in Pusha’s hometown. The attendees ranged from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Pharrell, who was Pusha’s best man. Pusha’s brother No Malice was also in attendance — marking a Clipse reunion.

During an AMA through Discord earlier this year, Pusha revealed he’s currently got three projects in the vault.

“I’m actually working on three projects right now,” he said, adding that he’s also got a collaborated record with Madlib in the works. “So, you know, with everything that’s going on in the world right now, of course we’re not all together. But I’m well in on my next project.”

“No features as of yet — it’s looking kind of selfish right now, to be honest,” Pusha revealed. “I got lots to say… Lots to address.”

As for the project with Madlib, King Push says the pair has recorded a “hard-drive full of gems.”

“We’re cooking this year, like now,” he explained. “That’s really all I can really say about it… You know, with me and producers, to me, it’s like I’m going to school. So, he’s just like another teacher to me.”
