Beyoncé has a very important message for her fans while they practice social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

During her pre-recorded cameo for “One World: Together at Home,” the Houston native advocated for African Americans, who are dying at a faster rate amid Coronavirus. She also expressed her gratitude towards medical professionals and essential workers as they continue to risk their lives to aid with everyone’s safety.

“Tonight we celebrate true heroes, those who are making the ultimate sacrifice to keep us all safe, fed and healthy,” she said. “To the doctors, the nurses and other healthcare workers, who are away from their families taking care of ours, we continue to pray for your safety. To those in the food industry, delivery workers, mail carriers and sanitation employees, who are working so that we can be safe in our homes, we thank you for your selfless service.”

She continued, “Black Americans belong to these parts of the workforce that don’t have the luxury of working from home and African-American communities at large have been severely affected in these cries. Those with pre-existing conditions are at a higher risk.”

In a similar fashion to her mother, Blue Ivy also made a PSA on social media about the importance of staying safe during this trying time. The 8-year-old demonstrated her best hand washing tips in an adorable DIY experiment on Saturday (April 18).

“Hey y’all! Since we’re stuck at home, I have this little DIY experiment that you can do at home too,” Blue Ivy said. “This is why it’s important to wash your hands.”

She continued, “So, I have a mixture of a lot of different types of soaps inside of this and this is the Coronavirus or any virus. It’s just pepper. So, you’re going to want to stick your finger inside of the mixture of soaps, make sure you get a lot on there, then put your finger in it and the virus goes out. This is why it’s very important to wash your hands because if you wash your hands, your hands will stay clean. But, if you keep your hands dirty, you might get sick.”
