Diddy is encouraging everyone to get up and move their feet!

On Saturday (April 11), the music mogul announced his virtual dance-a-thon, which was created to help raise money for healthcare workers amid Coronavirus. In his caption, Diddy explained that he wanted to show his appreciation for essential workers during the pandemic.

“We are having the WORLD’S BIGGEST DANCE-A-THON and YOU ARE ALL INVITED,” he wrote alongside a heartwarming video of himself dancing. “We are raising much needed money for our healthcare workers in the underserved communities around the country!⁣⁣ So let’s ALL DANCE TOGETHER and raise money for our healthcare workers to let them know how much we appreciate them! This Sunday 3pm EST / 12PM PST on my Instagram live! Tell a friend to tell a friend!”

In another post, the Making The Band creator recorded himself learning some of today’s hottest dance moves with assistance from his sons and daughters. “I’m learning some new dances,” he wrote.

Diddy’s announcement came after he shared on Instagram that he was looking for a way to support healthcare workers. At the time, he explained that he wanted everyone to get involved.

“We can’t just sit back and leave our healthcare workers abandoned and unprotected. Over the next few days I’ll be locked in and focused on finding ways to directly support our healthcare workers but I don’t have all the answers. If you want to help or have any great ideas, please reach out to me now! God bless us all,” he wrote alongside a video of himself on Instagram.

He concluded, “There’s no way you could have power and not want to do something with it. We have to get together to find the cure, fix the thing with healthcare workers, and get the economy back on top to make life different. We’re the magic. We control the f—king destiny.”
