Fans and friends continue to pay their respects to King Von after the 26-year-old was fatally shot in Atlanta earlier this month. The latest tribute arrives from Asian Doll — Von’s girlfriend — who got a portrait of her late partner tattooed on her hand.
“You Kno How It Go We Dont Even Play Like Dat Dayvon,” she captioned a post of the new ink. “This The HARDEST Tattoo On My Body.”
Designed by Los Angeles tattoo artist SNEAKYGEE, the portrait features Von wearing a Burberry hat and appears on the back of her left hand. Since his passing, Asian Doll has shared several tributes for Von, including changing her Twitter name to “Queen Von.”
“Always spoke highly of you our relationship wasn’t based off just sex & popularity we was deep innis shit we slept nose to nose we were real life SOULMATES you couldn’t even think of Von without thinking of me,” she wrote in one post on Instagram, which featured a slideshow of them together.
“I Had this mans best interest since day one we both came from a rough environment seeing how crazy Von lifestyle was it inspired me to change & find peace with God for US,” she continued. “I always had spiritual conversations with you I wanted you to kno GOD loves you & your the chosen one & you BELIEVED ME I was becoming a women & your the reason why & that’s some nobody can never take from me.”
“I was so proud of you baby but you just make me even prouder words can’t explain ima miss you physically but your forever living through me,” she added.
Von was tragically gunned down outside of an Atlanta nightclub on Nov. 7. The Welcome To O’Block rapper was one of six people shot during the incident. Shortly after, police arrested suspect Timothy Leeks and charged him with Von’s murder.
