Chavo and Pi’erre Bourne have officially teamed up to unleash their latest collab project Chavo’s World 2. Following their recent track “Michigan (Remix)” featuring Babyface Ray, the most recent single that preceded the project release was “Ryuk” from earlier this month. The song is named after the infamous Death Note character, and right from the start, Chavo makes the reference loud and clear as he handles the opening hook:
Death Note like Ryuk, Death Note like Ryuk/ She was livin’ her best life as a youth, Death Note like Ryuk/ She was livin’ her best life as a youth, didn’t have a home or roof/ Death Note like Ryuk, her boyfriend didn’t even have a fucking clue/
Let her see my fucking view, now she got accustomed to it/ Her best friend like “That ain’t fair, I wanna fuck on ‘em too”/ She didn’t get to bust a move, she still sent me a bunch of nudes/ Codeine bottles in the crib, I try to hide ‘em from you/ Let’s be honest, you’ll abuse ‘em just like I do
The new project is the official second installment of the duo’s 2020 release, Chavo’s World. Some recent tracks by Chavo include “WYFW” with Pi’erre, “American Deli” featuring Coi Leray, and some dope features from him like on SLURRTY’s “Fast Money,” Alec Boi’s “She Belong,” and Sway Burr’s “Replay.”
Pi’erre Bourne closed out the successful run with the fifth installment of his The Life Of Pi’erre series back in June. He birthed the series years ago in 2016 while still producing heavily for other artists. The album boasts appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and Sharc. He has dropped off a plethora of accompanying visuals for fans to enjoy, including stand-outs like “Groceries,” “4U,” and “Juice.”
