Just a couple of months ago, Toosii blessed his growing fanbase with his latest project Thank You For Believing, a 13-track body of work that saw a few assists from Latto, DaBaby, and Key Glock. Today, the Raleigh-based star is already back with a new single titled “heart cold,” an Ant Chamberlain, Tymepce, and Dvosk-produced cut that sees him keeping things real about his emotions in the midst of fake love and negative energy:
“I guess it’s my fault that you don’t love me, ho fuck me, it’s safe to say the world getting ugly, and I could say that my heart cold, my heart cold, yeah, but that’s ‘cause you put someone else above me, I got bad habits but I want for you to know, yeah, when I talk less, it’s easy to let it go…”
Courtesy of NoRatchetSS and Trilla Visuals, fans can also check out an accompanying clip for “Heart Cold,” which seems like a typical day post-fame for Toosii. Viewers can see him in a mall, showing off stacks of money, taking pictures with fans, and more.
Last month, it was revealed that Toosii would be joining 42 Dugg, Flo Milli, Morray, Pooh Shiesty, Lakeyah, Coi Leray, Blxst, Rubi Rose, Iann Dior, and DDG as the latest members of XXL’s coveted Freshman class. It’s no doubt that many will be checking for the freestyles and cyphers from all of those mentioned.
In a past interview for REVOLT’s “Big Facts,” Toosii gave his advice on what’s needed to reach success in the rap world:
“Stay consistent, and be yourself. Like, be aight with being yourself. ‘Cause at the end of the day, people who be theyself is the ones who go the farthest, you know? The real always gonna prevail.”
