Just last week, Yung Baby Tate treated fans with a deluxe version of her beloved After The Rain EP. To keep the momentum going, today (June 2) the Georgia native delivers the official music video for her well-loved single “Eenie Meenie.” In the vibrant new visual, Tate’s personality shines through, as she flows comfortably over the Take A Daytrip-produced beat:
Eenie meenie miney mo, which one of you lil’ n***as tryna be my hoe (Hoe)/ Before I suck a ding-a-ling, better let me know, is you STD free, let the record show (Show it)/ Tell it all, n***a get up in this walls, n***a
I’ll shave this pussy bald ‘fore I fuck a bald n***a (Ha) 5’2”, fine too, still fuck a tall n***a/ You know I don’t discriminate ‘cause I need all figures, get that money, dollar-dollar bill, oh yeah (Oh, yeah)/
The original After The Rain project included seven new tracks and features from Flo Milli and 6lack. For the Flo-Milli-assisted “I Am,” Yung Baby Tate made sure to take the time to cook up a stunning official visual that oozed confidence did the collab justice.
In a recent sit-down with REVOLT, Yung Baby Tate delved into what she wants to see more of in the future of the female rap game:
I want to see more brown skin and dark skin female rappers at the forefront. Not just in rap because I’m not just a rapper, but in music in general. It’s a blessing for Black women of any color to be on the podiums and the pedestals we’re on in those types of spotlights. But, one thing I really want to see, I hope to see, and I will see in the future is way more representation for brown and darker skin Black women.
