Eric Bellinger has dropped off his latest visual “Shine On The World,” which is a swift follow up to his consistent streak of 1-800-HIT-EAZY he has been on these last few weeks. The new visual opens up with a scene in a church as the pastor invites anyone to come up on stage to share anything they would like. A young boy volunteers and starts to sing his hopeful lyrics, until the pastor stops him and says he should only sing for the church and not the outside “worldly music” because his voice is a gift from God. Then, Eric takes over with his opening notes:

Beat buzzing, shit popping, we coming/ Streets love ‘em, hella fans like McLovin’ yeah/ Eazy does it, beat fresh out the oven (shit)/ So gully, but smooth tone like David Ruffin/ Don’t get me started, I’m not afraid to let my light shine on the world/ Hey, soul sister, let me see you, Farlow/

Most recently, Eric Bellinger assisted Symphani Soto on her latest single “Just A Moment” and joined her for the official 2000’s-inspired music video as well. Last month, Eric Bellinger and Hitmaka teamed up for their joint 1-800-HIT-EAZY project. The new body of work consists of 14 new tracks, all produced by Hitmaka, and includes just two features from Chrishan and Rahky.

Prior to this was the Eric B for President: Term 3 project. Equipped with nine tracks, the October 2020 project came accompanied by a visual version of the album, consisting of the music videos Bellinger has been dropping steadily leading up to the release. He kicked off in September with the intro track “Godly,” then closed out with “Gravity” and “The 1st Lady.”
