Next month, Eric Bellinger will release his latest project Eric B For President: Term 3, the third installment of his EP series previously released in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Over the weekend, the Los Angeles singer revealed a visual from the forthcoming drop for “GODLY,” which is a perfect track for anyone who feels like flexing presidential-style:
“Skatin’ fast when I’m in the ‘Rari, diamonds, VVS, got me feeling godly … I might blow a bag ‘cause I’m feeling godly … I’m the flyest n***a in the party, dripped in all white got me feeling godly…/”
The visual comes courtesy of Jack Lumetri and sees Bellinger enjoying the rich life, living it up in his private jet, racing through the streets in his high-end whips, and enjoying some dance routines for good measure. It’s clear that the Coronavirus pandemic hasn’t stopped his forward movement by any means.
“GODLY” follows last year’s solo releases The Rebirth 2 and Saved By The Bellinger, which saw equally catchy cuts and collaborations with K CAMP, Kehlani, Wale, Guapdad 4000, Chris Brown, the late Nipsey Hussle, and more. More recently, he teamed up with Neiman J for Optimal Music, a project that he further explained in a recent review with REVOLT:
“Man, Optimal Music is the ultra, the highest form of maximum everything. Just the word optimal, the maximum of the maximization in the music. Both powers combined: Eric Bellinger and Neiman Johnson. Whenever we link up on something, it’s always extra special. From his brains to my talent to us merging together and trusting each other, the balance produces greatness every time.”
Press play on “GODLY” below. Those that are interested can also head to Bellinger’s social media to submit verses toward a future remix of the single. Eric B For President: Term 3 officially makes landfall Oct. 30.
