The start of the storm for Culture III has officially kicked into full gear. Culture III is the third and final entry in Migos’ well-loved Culture series and the group’s fourth studio album. The next official single “Straightenin” has just arrived, and it serves to set the tone for the trio to ride the heat wave into the official release.
Ahead of the midnight drop, Offset got fans excited by posting a clip of the forthcoming video to twitter, which sees the three in their comfort zone surrounded by flashy cars and their crew. Although there is no official track list yet, the rappers have shared a slew of singles, such as “Need It” featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again, within the last few months that are assumingly going to be featured on the project.
Last month, Quavo told paparazzi that the trio would release Culture III in “less than a month and a half.” He also spoke with GQ about the record in July with confidence, saying, “The vibe on the album is more of Culture, and that’s all I should really share. We feel good. We feel new and refreshed.” Migos began teasing Culture III shortly after releasing the series’ second output, Culture II, in 2018. In December of the following year, Quavo described Culture III to Business Insider as “prolific.”
“I feel like it’s more about Migos that y’all don’t know yet,” he added. “… I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it.” Offset also teased that the album may include a never-before-heard collaboration with Juice WRLD. “I got this song called ‘What’s Brackin’ with him and I’m probably gonna put that shit on Culture III,” he said at the time. “He [go] ape shit on that thing.”
More recently in Quavo-related news, he appeared on the deluxe version of Justin Bieber’s new album, Justice, on the track “Wish You Would.” Last week, the group was also seen in Miami with DJ Khaled cooking up new music for the producer’s next album, Khaled Khaled.
