Migos are keeping the excitement going for their highly anticipated next album, Culture III. On Tuesday (March 30), Quavo stoked fans’ curiosity by sharing a snippet of an unreleased song that will presumedly land on the project.
“Don’t Nun Get Straighten But STRAIGHTEN!!” Quavo captioned the 10-second clip, which also arrives with a video. Quavo is front-and-center in the snippet, and raps, “N***as act like the game went vacant / N***as act like somethin’ been taken / Ain’t nothin’ but a little bit of straightenin.’”
The rapper is flanked by fellow groupmates Offset and Takeoff, who stand behind him in the clip.
Last month, Quavo told paparazzi that the trio would release Culture III in “less than a month and a half.” He also spoke with GQ about the record in July, saying, “The vibe on the album is more of Culture, and that’s all I should really share. We feel good. We feel new and refreshed.”
Migos began teasing Culture III shortly after releasing the series’ second output, Culture II, in 2018. In December of the following year, Quavo described Culture III to Business Insider as “prolific.”
“I feel like it’s more about Migos that y’all don’t know yet,” he added. “… I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it.”
Offset also teased that the album may include a never-before-heard collaboration with Juice WRLD.
“I got this song called ‘What’s Brackin’ with him and I’m probably gonna put that shit on Culture III,” he said at the time. “He [go] ape shit on that thing.”
More recently, Quavo appeared on the deluxe version of Justin Bieber’s new album, Justice, on the track “Wish You Would.” Last week, the group was also seen in Miami with DJ Khaled cooking up new music for the producer’s next album, Khaled Khaled.
