Last month, Eric Bellinger and Hitmaka teamed up for their joint 1-800-HIT-EAZY project. The new body of work consists of 14 new tracks, all produced by Hitmaka, and includes just two features from Chrishan and Rahky. The project was preceded by their “Only You” single, and now we’ve received a new visual for their “Serious” cut, which sees reimagined Lego versions of Eric and his video co-stars flashing across the screen as he sings:
So what you think ‘bout that? Ayy, have a couple drinks like yeah, yeah/ Ayy, pull off in the Brinks like, don’t want you to leave, not yet, yet/ I want you to meet my bed. Put that ass to sleep like yeah, yeah/ Get down on my knees, oh, I’ma work my way to the bottom (It’s Eazy)/ Pretty girls have got a lotta, oh-woah (Sheesh) But, girl, you got it, I’m thinkin’ maybe we should take shit serious/ Work my way to the bottom. Pretty girls have got a lotta, oh-woah/ But, girl, you got it, thinkin’ maybe we should take shit serious
Fans also were able to enjoy another visual from the album for the track titled “Hype Beast.” Prior to this was the Eric B for President: Term 3 project. Equipped with nine tracks, the October 2020 project came accompanied by a visual version of the album, consisting of the music videos Bellinger has been dropping steadily leading up to the release. He kicked off in September with the intro track “Godly,” thenclosed out with “Gravity” and “The 1st Lady.” Aside from his own music, Bellinger was also a part of T.I.’s album The L.I.B.R.A. on the song “How I Feel” alongside Killer Mike with production from David Banner and Forest Factory.
