Last year, Duke Deuce delivered one of the hottest projects of 2020 with Memphis Massacre 2, the sequel to 2018’s Memphis Massacre that boasted 12 tracks and additional features from Lil Yachty, Lil Thad, Lil Jon, Juicy J, and Project Pat — the last three of whom appeared on the remix of Deuce’s breakthrough single “Crunk Ain’t Dead,” a remake of Pat’s classic Mista Don’t Play: Everythangs Workin’ cut “If You Aint From My Hood.”
Today, the Tennessee talent continues that momentum with his new project Duke Nukem, a 14-track body of work with contributions from the likes of A$AP Ferg, Offset, Young Dolph, Young Dolph, Lil Keed, and Mulatto. Adding to the full-length is a visual for the Foogiano-assisted “SPIN,” which sees the two artists keeping things street over production from HitKidd and YS Trakkz:
“Me and Foogiano rep the same thing, we folks, playin’ with my bread, nigga, fuck around and get toast, that bitch in a Hummer, finna drop pounds in that ho, no hashtag, but I’m straight poundin’ your ho/
With the mob, get plugged inIn the mob, we thuggin’, she gon’ slob in your den, then she gon’ say I’m her friend, I’m on your TV, but I see 3D up in these lenses/
A signee under Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas’ Quality Control imprint, Deuce and his team recently announced an additional partnership with Capitol/Motown, a dual entity which also houses fellow QC stars Lil Baby, City Girls, and Migos. Outside of music, he’s also reportedly expanding into the cannabis industry, and will soon have his own marijuana strand in multiple stores in California. Simply put, it’s clear that Deuce is setting up for an incredible 2021.
