In October, $NOT teamed up with Denzel Curry for their “Sangria” single, which served to prep fans for his then-forthcoming Beautiful Havoc project. The recently two joined forces to make sure a visual for the hard-hitting track became a reality. The freshly released Omar Jones-directed video for “Sangria” takes both Florida emcees to the Lana River in Tirana, Albania as $NOT takes care of the punchy opening hook:
Okay, I’m drinkin’ in my cup, that’s a bottle of Sangria (Huh)/ Knock a n***a out with a two-piece heater (Uh). Bro, I’m creepin’, I’m pullin’ up in a two-seater/ Can’t believe it? You see it, now I’m mothafuckin’ eatin’. I’m a speed demon, I be goin’, I’m a NASCAR (What’s up?)/ Bitch suckin’ dick while I go faster. I ain’t playin’ with no lil’ n***a, bitch n***a. Snitch n***a (Bitch), kill a n***a, which n***a?/ Man, I wish a n***a pull up on me like a ho. Man, I wish a n***a, I be posted with my bros.
The new album Beautiful Havoc arrived on Oct. 30th via 300 Entertainment. Leading up to the drop, $NOT shared a with the Flo Milli-assisted cut “Mean,” which arrived paired with a Cole Bennett visual. Since then, we’ve received a video for “Like Me” from the project. Beautiful Havoc is the follow-up to his March 2020 album TRAGEDY +, which featured hits like ”Beretta” ft. wifisfuneral and ”Moon & Stars” featuring Maggie Lindemann.
Prior to this, Denzel Curry dropped a joint project with producer Kenny Beats last February titled UNLOCKED. He also was featured on YUNGBLUD’s single “Lemonade,” which dropped back in August. More recently, Curry shared “Live From the Abyss,” a protest song (released exclusively through Bandcamp to help raise donations for Dream Defenders) expressing his frustration with the political state of America.
