Doe Boy is back with a new single, and this time he has recruited Lil Uzi Vert for the assist. The new “Lowkey” track was teased with an animated visual. On the track, Doe Boy leads with his hook about how he’d rather be ducked off with his lady:
I don’t fuck with no snitches, she don’t either. Big-ass Chanel bag hold my extension, I’m gon’ keep her, aww. Know I got bitches, but she don’t be trippin’, but I don’t either, nah/ Drop top coupe, me and her, two-seater, ain’t tellin’ our business, she know I’ma keep it. Me and lil’ shawty just vibin’, don’t want attention, we hidin’/ All of these n***as be choosin’, she never mindin’, she know I’m sidin’. Baby, you know how I’m rockin’, you the one type I let empty my pockets, gang.
Back in November, Doe Boy dropped off Demons R Us, his collaborative album with Atlanta producer Southside. It contained 19 tracks with a slew of dope assists from Lil Uzi Vert, Freebandz head honcho Future, Chief Keef, Young Nudy, 42 Dugg, Swae Lee, and Trippie Redd. In a recent interview with REVOLT, Doe Boy explained how many of the collaborations from Demons R Us came together and what he thinks about Southside. “Southside’s literally the hardest producer in the world — his sound is amazing,” he said. “Being around him as a person, that n*gga fire. You’re going to feed off his energy because he’s not a producer, he’s a gangsta.”
Lil Uzi’s most recent body of work was Pluto x Baby Pluto, his collaboration with Future. Before that, fans have been able to enjoy Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake, which saw 18 tracks with a single feature from Syd, and landed the rapper at the top spot on the Billboard 200 with 288,000 album equivalent units during its first week of release.
