Jackboy has dropped off his brand new single this week titled “Don’t Force My Hand” and it arrived with an accompanying visual to match. The song is a follow up to his September release, the touching “Where I’m From.” On his freshly released “Don’t Force My Hand” track, Jackboy shares his message to keep your circle close and avoid any unnecessary beef:
I told my bitch I’m having motion, they supposed to hate me/ Don’t worry ‘bout them, they not killers, they just talking crazy and how these n***as be on my dick, this shit starting to amaze me/ They be acting like lil’ fucking hoes speaking ‘bout the kid daily, I’m taking trips to Dubai just to shop, baby, I’m different
A few weeks ago, Jackboy returned with a personal visualizer for the aforementioned “Where I’m From” off of the second installment of his self-titled album Jackboy 2. The video is a poignant moment for Jackboy as he honestly shares his history both sonically and visually in a triumphant ode to his home. “Where I’m From” follows Jackboy embarking on a trip of reflection and hope as he reconnects with his roots in Haiti in the wake and rubble of the devastating 7.2 earthquake occurring earlier this year.
The aforementioned Jackboy 2 project features 15 tracks and features from Money Man and Fireboy DML. Prior to this, Jackboy dropped off his Love Me While I’m Here project a few months ago, equipped with 19 tracks with additional features from Rylo Rodriguez, Fredo Bang, Denzel Curry, Sada Baby, DeJ Loaf, Lil Mosey, Tyga, Juelz Santana, 42 Dugg, Sniper Gang crony Kodak Black, and more. He then returned with a new single “Protecting My Energy,” a track that reminds us to prioritize the important things in life.
