Latto’s momentum keeps getting stronger. Over the weekend, the ClayCo star stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to deliver a shining performance of her newest successful single “Big Energy.” The new performance follows her recent LA Leakers freestyle and her “Soufside” single. During the “Big Energy” performance, Latto slides over a sample of Mariah Carey’s classic “Fantasy,” and even alludes to it on her first few lines:
Bad bitch, I could be your fantasy, I could tell you got big dick energy/ It ain’t too many of ‘em that can handle me, but I might let you try off the Hennessy/ Make ‘em sing to this thing like a melody and if your girl ain’t right, I got the remedy/ It ain’t too many of ‘em that can handle me, bad bitch, I could be your fantasy
Big-big-big, big energy, I got that big, big energy/ I got that real big energy, I got that big, big energy (Big-big еnergy)
Most recently, Latto can be heard on the new official soundtrack for Bruised. She also can be heard alongside Don Toliver and Lil Durk on the F9 The Fast Saga official soundtrack, and she also linked up with Chris Brown, Future, and Young Thug for the official remix of Breezy’s summertime anthem “Go Crazy.”
Big Latto dropped off her debut Queen of da Souf last year. Equipped with 13 records in total, she grabbed a great list of features including Gucci Mane, City Girls, 21 Savage, Saweetie, Trina and more for the original version of the project, with Lil Baby being the only new addition. The project was led by her successful singles “Muwop” featuring Gucci Mane and “B*tch From Da Souf” featuring Saweetie and Trina. Since then she’s contributed her bars to dope collab tracks like Jacquees’ “Freaky As Me.”
