Back in July, Yungeen Ace blessed his fans with his latest body of work Life of Betrayal 2x, the sequel to 2018’s Life of Betrayal. Released via Cinematic Music Group, the project saw 16 songs with additional assists from YFN Lucci, G Herbo, Whoppa Wit Da Choppa, Spinabenz, FastMoney Goon, and the late King Von, who delivered some bittersweet bars on the Cloak Beats, Almari Beats, Louie Montana, and Beezo-produced “Hardaway”:
“Fuck that, how you cool with the guys? Don’t trust that, you around, ain’t around, that’s suspect, if they bussin’ at me, nigga, I’ma bust back, police comin’ and I still won’t cuff that…”
Today (Oct. 8), Yungeen returns with the hard-hitting new single “Duffle Bag,” which sees the Floridian star keeping with the street-oriented subject matter that he’s become popular for over production from Priority Beats and Wings:
“Quarter-million dollars in the duffle bag, hmm, would try to talk, but his car too fast, hmm, two-sixty on the dash, my foot on the gas, hmm, red and blue lights, need 12 on my ass, hell nah, I ain’t stoppin’, I got facts, come here, let me talk some knowledge, baby girl pussy got mileage, creep low and I’m movin’ in silence, all of my niggas be dangerous, all my niggas got brains to bust…”
Last month, Yungeen Ace connected with REVOLT for an interview that saw him speaking on a variety of topics, including his aforementioned album and collaborations, relationship with his mother and girlfriend, being a Black man in America, and more. He also spoke on how he feels to be a frontrunner from Jacksonville:
“Shit, it feels real good to do that and be one of the ones for real ‘cause Florida being Florida, that shit’s hard. I got a love for everybody who’s still grinding. Hell yeah. Family.”
Press play on “Duffle Bag.”
