Earlier this year, Coi Leray dropped her EP Now or Never, and today (Sept 18) she gifts fans with the music video for the project’s intro track “Slide” featuring Gunna. The Now or Never project included features from Kiana Lede, Sevyn Streeter, and fellow Jersey native Fetty Wap. The visual shows Coi Leray and Gunna playing each other’s love interest while enjoying their time in a lavish mansion.

For the song’s catchy hook, Coi sings about only wanting to be around real ones:

“Only throw it back for the real one. You don’t f**k with the fake, you want a real one. Red underneath the shoes, the heel one. I just got me some new. Balenciaga hoodie, the teal one.”

In a recent interview with REVOLT about Now or Never, Coi Leray delved into why she is taking time with her debut:

“As an upcoming artist, you’ve got to build. You’ve got to create a story. I’m living my life, taking my time with this s**t because you don’t want to rush anything. I want to make sure that the way I tell my story is exactly how it needs to be. As long as it needs to take, that’s what the f**k it’s going to be. The day that I do tell my story and drop the project, it’s going to fucking go crazy. I’m definitely hitting Billboard charts. I promise you that.”

Gunna has had an active 2020, as he dropped his album WUNNA back in May and kept his foot on the gas since. He delivered the deluxe version of his chart-topping album, and recently shared the visuals for “200 FOR LUNCH,” “WUNNA FLOW” featuring Yak Gotti, “DOLLAZ ON MY HEAD” featuring Young Thug, “DIRTY DIANA” and more.
