Back in July, Curren$y teamed up with producer Harry Fraud to deliver the collaborative EP The OutRunners, which contains nine smooth cuts and appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Conway The Machine, Jim Jones, and more. For his latest, the New Orleans veteran drops off a new visual from that project for “Mugallo Red,” which features Rick Ross and, as expected, is filled with the type of luxury talk that should inspire all listeners to get to the money by any means:
“We use Rolls Royce umbrellas, no regard for the weather, keep me out the rain and in the shade, n***a, I’m good forever, I’m cool wherever/
We park in the city, hop out, you know I’m smoking something better, got something pretty with me, that nigga there a veteran, stood with n***as who been stepping…/”
The accompanying visual comes courtesy of Dope Media and gets the message off in the simplest way possible — head to Rick Ross’ enormous Georgia estate, break out the high end cars, and enjoy some weed and plenty of Luc Belaire at different spots within the palatial residence.
To say that Curren$y has been busy this year would be an understatement. In addition to The OutRunners, fans have also received the 2020 releases The Tonite Show with Curren$y with DJ Fresh, Spring Clean with Fuse, 3 Piece Set, Smokin’ Potnas with Fendi P, and The Green Tape with Cardo. Meanwhile, Rick Ross is still sailing off his recent “Verzuz” appearance, which he used to premiere his latest single “Pinned To The Cross.” He’s also currently said to be putting the finishing touches on both his eleventh studio album Richer Than I’ve Ever Been and the fourth installment of Maybach Music’s Self Made compilation series.
Press play on Curren$y, Harry Fraud, and Ross’ “Mugello Red” video below. In related news, a director’s cut of The OutRunners will be arriving this Friday (September 18).
