This past weekend, YG revealed his latest single “Equinox,” which features his new artist Day Sulan. Now, that track gets an accompanying video, which features a bevy of bikini-clad beauties living it up on a tennis court. In addition to the collaborators performing the track, there’s plenty of water, twerking, and overall adults only fun that’s sure to make a lot of viewers miss being outside.
In addition to the visual, YG also announced his new album MY 4HUNNID LIFE, which is presumed to be a name change for his previously announced project Laugh Now Kry Later! Prior to “Equinox,” YG released a slew of dope cuts throughout the year including “Swag,” “FTP,” “Konclusions” with Kehlani, and what would have been his forthcoming album’s title track prior to the change. He also released a quartet of greatest hits EPs and — late last year — dropped the Tyga and Santana-assisted cut “Mamacita.”
Day Sulan has hit the ground running as well. In addition to breaking down her runaway hit “BIG” with Rubi Rose, she also spoke to REVOLT on when she first realized that she could succeed in the music industry:
“My first time was with one of my favorite producers, his name is Cronkite. That was my first session ever making my own song, my first time ever rapping and singing in front of somebody in a home studio. It’s a process. I love music and I know I can write. I know I’m great at this shit, but when I first started, I thought, ‘Can I do it?’ I used to question myself a lot. My first studio session and being in that environment recording for me, I knew this is where I’m supposed to be.”
Press play on the video for “Equinox” below. MY 4HUNNID LIFE is set to be released October 2.
