Back in June, Lil Durk liberated the deluxe version of his latest album Just Cause Y’all Waited 2, which saw an additional seven new tracks from the Chicago star. This week, he drops off a new visual from the updated project for “Watch Yo Homie,” which is produced by John Lam and Tre Gilliam and sees Durk reminding us to be careful with who we allow into our personal circles:

“What you was doin’ with your profit money? I said you buy a n***a chain, they say you took it from him/

The same b***hes tryna f*** the ones who s***ted on me, wanna see the same n***a from back then who s***ted on me/

Wanna see the family members who turnt up and s***ted on me, wanna see them trap n***as who got money and s***ted on me…/”

The video comes courtesy of Crown So Heavy, and shows Lil Durk and his crew out in the country riding four-wheelers, a presumed getaway from the very stress that Durk speaks on in his music.

“Watch Yo Homie” follows previously released clips for “When We Shoot,” “Gucci Gucci” with Gunna and the Polo G and Lil Baby-assisted “3 Headed Goat,” all of which can be found on the aforementioned project. Prior to that, Durk delivered his Only The Family compilation, which featured him and his artists alongside the likes of G Herbo, NLE Choppa, and Lil Tjay, as well as Love Songs 4 the Streets 2, which became Durk’s first Billboard top five release thanks to 44,000 album equivalent units sold.

Last month also saw Lil Durk making headlines for a tweet that saw him declaring his value as a performer once life opens back up post-Coronavirus pandemic:

“I’m going up 100k a show when they say we can do em remember this tweet”
