Back in May, Styles P released his latest solo project Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm, which sees 15 tracks from the Yonkers legend and additional assistance from ItsTheReal, Snyp Life, his LOX brothers Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, and more. This week, he delivers a new visual from the project for the Dyce Payne-assisted cut “Ghost Vibe,” which sees Styles putting his heart on his sleeve over production from Supa Stylez:
“Life full of pain, how could I complain, when everybody around me probably feels the same? You could count the stops on the train, but you couldn’t count the drops in the rain/
Not even when it drizzle, lotta n***as had fires, seen this s*** fizzle, from no dedication to the craft, before rap, I had dedication to the av’s, see the weed deal and make the medication last…/”
The visual comes courtesy of Streetheat and sees Styles P and his crew seemingly handling business with some Chinese associates in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic — one of whom happens to be fellow New York rhymer China Mac. By the end of the clip, it looks like everything is well for all participating parties.
In additional to his own drops, Styles P and his LOX cohorts have returned to the fold, gearing up for the release of their forthcoming studio LP Living Off Xperience. The trio have already liberated project cuts “Loyalty & Love,” “Gave It To Em,” and the DMX-assisted “Bout S***.” Even with his fans fed, Styles has already cooked up a follow-up to Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm, something that he revealed on social media:
“My next solo album is already done !! Y’all better stop playing with me !!!”
Press play on Styles P and Dyce Payne’s “Ghost Vibe” below. The LOX’s Living Off Experience makes landfall this Friday (August 28).
