Earlier this week, Smino decided to surprise his fans with the new mixtape She Already Decided, which sees 16 new tracks and features from Sevyn Streeter, Bari, T-Pain, and more. One stand out — the Isley Brothers-sampling “Fronto Isley” — sets the tone for the rest of the project:

Also included with the mixtape is a visual for the track “Cabbage,” which is in itself a freestyle over Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.” The clip showcases some behind the scenes footage of Smino on tour — something we may not see from Smino or anyone else for a while thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic.

She Already Decided follows last year’s EP High 4 Da Highladays and the 2018 sophomore release NØIR. This year, he’s released the new singles “Tempo” and “Reverend,” the latter of which comes with a dope matching visual. Following his inclusion on Dreamville’s Revenge Of The Dreamers III compilation, he’s also provided assistance for Ari Lennox on the Shay Butter Baby Remix EP cut “Up Late (Remix).”

In a recent interview with Wonderland Magazine, Smino spoke on his fear of losing his creativity:

“It’s a matter of — if s*** be too good — you’re too far into your success. It makes it harder to have some s*** to relate to, or have s*** other people relate to, because you’re just not there anymore. That’s why I try and stay real.”
