Make no mistake — Tory Lanez has been white hot with his music as of late, delivering such a wide range of songs that it’s heard to believe it’s only coming from one individual. In the past three months, he’s connected with a multitude of infectious cuts — including the Brianna Cash-assisted “Numb,” the Fivio Foreign-assisted “K Lo K,” “Broke In A Minute,” and “W.” This week, he gives his most recent drop — the CP DUBB & Ron Sizzle-produced “Do The Most” — with a matching new visual.
The track sees Tory letting his ex-girl knows how he really feels, and how he’s moving forward:
“I say word to my ex, I might never fall in love again, chase nothin’ but the liquor in the cup again/
I did a show, I’m leavin’ with a hunnid bands, and I ain’t Stunna, Stunna, Stunna, man/
Yeah, I got two birds, like Stunna, man, hotline bling, that’s a hunnid bands/
In the night club, they be like “You done it, man,” in the night, chain lookin’ like “Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh”/
Got the house party all tilted, I f*** that girl, she f***ed my girl, I feel guilty…/”
The accompanying video — directed by Lanez and his go-to creative MidJordan — finds Tory walking in on his significant other cheating with another man. In addition to enjoying his “quarantine” with a crew of beautiful women, the rest of the video finds him running into his girl and said affair — complete with some well-deserved punches for revenge.
Check out “Do The Most,” which is currently available on all major streaming platforms. The bouncy number is said to appear on the forthcoming third installment of Tory Lanez’ New Toronto series, which makes landfall April 10 — the official artwork for that can be seen below as well.
