As fans continue to wait for the outcome of his feud with Lil Uzi Vert, DJ Drama continues to deliver music of his own to the masses. For his latest, the Gangsta Grillz mastermind teams up with Rick Ross, Westside Gunn and new artist Lule. The laid-back cut — produced by Lyle Leduff and Sean Momberger — sees Ross flexing on wax while Westside keeps things grimy, all while Lule brings it together via hook duties:
“150 word to the Lamb I’m drivin’/
Aventador on the ice I’m stylin’/
350 don’t have me no Yeezy/
Drippin’ on ‘em, I make it look easy, yeah…/”
The song also comes with a simple-yet-effective video courtesy of The Wizard. The clip features Lamborghinis, Luc Belaire Rose and beautiful women surrounded by fast-moving laser lights — a perfect backdrop for the music.
“350” is DJ Drama’s first release since last year’s “Nasty,” which featured Moneybagg Yo and PnB Rock. Both tracks are expected to appear on Drama’s third installment of his Quality Street Music compilation series. Over the past couple of decades, Drama has given the world five official studio projects — Gangsta Grillz: The Album volumes one and two, Third Power, and the aforementioned Quality Street Music series — as well as countless classic mixtapes with all of your favorite artists. Along with Quentin Miller, he also found himself in the midst of Drake and Meek Mill’s massive fallout and subsequent beef on wax and social media, which stemmed from the now-famous ghostwriter allegations. All partied have since seemingly reconciled, although fans shouldn’t expect any mixtape collaborations from Drama and the two hip hop front runners anytime soon.
In the meantime, you can press play on “350” below and grab your audio copy through your favorite streaming platform. A new LP release from DJ Drama shouldn’t be too far away.
