Yesterday (December 3) marked Lil Baby’s 26th birthday, and he spent it by throwing an “Ice Ball” private event with family and friends. Not forgetting his fans, the Atlanta artist has also decided to deliver two new songs titled “Errbody” and “On Me,” the latter of which was previously teased on social media and is presumably dedicated to his girlfriend Jayda Cheaves:
“I’m like, ‘come and put that pussy on me, don’t be runnin’ from me,’ if I like it, I spend money on it, get whatever from it, put six figures in your business, I do real shit, I drop cash at the dealership, they’ll mail you a pink slip/
She make sure she keep her nails did and her wig fixed, went to jail and that one held me down, she a real bitch…/”
If there’s anyone in hip hop that had an amazing year, it’s Lil Baby — the top of 2020 saw him releasing his sophomore studio LP My Turn, which boasted 20 tracks and additional features from Gunna, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, and more. The album made an effortless leap to the top of the Billboard 200 thanks to 197,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. Months later, Lil Baby would deliver a deluxe version of My Turn that added on seven additional cuts — including the smash hit “We Paid” with 42 Dugg, which peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. Not to be kept in one box, Lil Baby also voiced his opinion on the Black Lives Matter movement with the socially charged effort “The Bigger Picture.”
Press play on the music videos for “Errbody” and “On Me” below. Hopefully, this means that a new body of work from Lil Baby is on the horizon.
