Just ahead of her new project release, Dej Loaf gives fans a taste of what’s to come. The Detroit artist just dropped off her single with Gunna titled “No Ceiling,” which includes production from Turn Me Up Josh. On the hook, Dej takes care of business:
“I’m out my mind, I ain’t got no ceiling, and I ain’t sparin’ none, I’ma make ‘em feel it, yeah. I’m gon’ make ‘em feel it. They gon’ wanna kill me, yeah. They gon’ wanna drill me. Many Men, like 50. He a rat, Walt Disney. Stomp his head with Balencis.”
The first installment of Sell Sole debuted back in 2014, so the announcement that its sequel is finally making its grand entrance this Friday (Oct. 23) is great news to OG Dej Loaf supporters. She recently unveiled the tracklist, which boasts solid features from names like Big Sean, Rick Ross, Lil Uzi Vert and 6lack. Detroit will stand up for track no. 10 on the project, which features two hot stars from the city together, Sada Baby and 42 Dugg. Track 12 “Get Money” will cater to the more lyrical heads, as it features Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, and Boldy James.
Earlier this year in May, Dej Loaf dropped an EP titled No Saint, which contained four new tracks including the opener of the same name and production from Derrick Shorter, Buddah Bless, Zaytoven, and Jason Vaughan. No Saint followed immediately after her previous four-track EP It’s A Set Up!. She released the single “Bubbly” in February, which was said to be taken from the forthcoming sequel to 2014’s Sell Sole. Dej Loaf most recently linked with Dave East and Nicole Bus for the new single “Star,” which has landed on the Jamal Hill-directed True To The Game 2 soundtrack.
Gunna has had an active 2020, as he dropped his album WUNNA back in May and kept his foot on the gas since. He delivered the deluxe version of his chart-topping album, and recently shared the visuals for “200 FOR LUNCH,” “WUNNA FLOW” featuring Yak Gotti, “DOLLAZ ON MY HEAD” featuring Young Thug, “DIRTY DIANA” and more.
