Today (Dec. 3) Nardo Wick will unleashes his debut album Who Is Nardo Wick?. The 19-year-old Jacksonville, Florida rapper has quickly risen to popularity and has become one of 2021’s breakout stars. This is largely due to his smash hit “Who Want Smoke,” and 2021 has also seen equally dope cuts from Nardo like “Shhh,” “Knock Knock,” “Pull Up,” and “I Be Chillin.”
To prep fans for what’s to come, Wick has dropped off a taste from the album beforehand in the form of a single titled “Me or Sum” featuring superstars Lil Baby and Future. On the track, Future has the honor of setting the tone as he takes the opening bars:
Drop your location, she think she me or sum’ (Hendrix) put on my chains, now she think she me or sum’/ She keep a Glock in her bag, she think she me or sum’ (Pluto) VVS rocks with the cash, she think she me or sum’
Came out hustlin’ with the bag, oh no I can’t get it the guys, oh/ Bitch can’t see me in binoculars, run it up, check up with Prada/ You runnin’ your racks up, I’m proud of you, all bad bitch eat seafood/
Nardo Wick burst onto the scene in mid-2020 with a string of releases including “Lolli,” “Slide,” and “Came Up.” Hit-producer Cardo Got Wings laced Nardo for a last-minute request to appear on February’s Judas And The Black Messiah: The Inspired Album. That album topped the charts upon release, putting Nardo Wick alongside the biggest stars of Hip-Hop and R&B. In 2021, Wick dropped the aforementioned “Who Want Smoke?” before eventually returning with its official remix with Lil Durk, 21 Savage, and G Herbo.
