Gunna and Future are always able to slide on a Wheezy beat with ease, so they made a song about it. The musical chemistry is at an all time high on the brand new single “Too Easy,” which just made landfall today (Sept. 24). On the new track, Gunna opens it up by rapping about how anytime they link up, it’s sure to be a hit:
It’s Young Wunna and Young Wheezy, man, this shit too easy/ Different bitch for every season, showin’ me they cleavage, I take drugs and feel relaxed, it’s like they therapeutic/ She take that pussy, I don’t call back, so she won’t think I need it
I sticked it deep inside her throat, well it ain’t no more breathin’/ If I don’t post and I go ghost, it’s gon’ be for a reason, just got my reading, that’s my reasons, I’m booked out the region/ This jewelry cold on me, I’m freezin’, no way I’m anemic
Gunna has been in a collaborative mood this year, as he joined his peers for tracks like “Paid The Fine” with Young Thug, YTB Trench, and Lil Baby, Lil Tecca’s new single “Repeat It,” and also linked up with Internet Money, Don Toliver, and Lil Uzi Vert for “His & Hers.” Most recently, he can be heard on the deluxe version of Doja Cat’s Planet Her. He and Young Thug had a hit on their hands when Young Stoner Life’s Slime Language 2 dropped earlier this year and fans immediately flocked to their “Ski” collab track.
Most recently, Future has made headlines for his appearance on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy project on the lead single “Way 2 Sexy.” Last year, Future and Lil Uzi Vert released their long-awaited joint album Pluto x Baby Pluto, which boasts 16 tracks and no features. Without giving even a full week to let the original project simmer, the Atlanta to Philadelphia duo swung back around to drop the deluxe version of the project as well.
