Today (Nov. 19), D-Block Europe reveal their new project Home Alone 2, the official sequel to the duo’s 2019 breakthrough Home Alone. This go ‘round, fans get to enjoy 23 dope cuts and a slew of appearances from Offset, Wretch 32, M Huncho, Tiny Boost, AJ Tracey, Tion Wayne, Jordan Morris, and more.
Just prior to Home Alone 2’s arrival, Young Adz and Dirtbike LB unveiled a visual for the standout cut “Overseas,” which features Central Cee and sees the collaborators boasting about their jet-setting, rockstar lifestyles:
“The year has just started and right now, I’m looking for cribs overseas, I’m giving my lady some driving lessons in a hundred-grand Jeep, when you see me in public, no photos, man, I need some privacy please, good girl, she just sat on my face, now she’s saying her legs have gone weak, bad, bad, see the jakes outside, now I’m flushing the work down the toilet, mad, mad, Richard Mille, a crib by the port and it’s imported…”
The accompanying clip for “Overseas” comes courtesy of William Thomas and sees the artists living lavish in Paris, beginning with shots of Adz making business deals and riding around the city with some eye candy in a Benz truck. Elsewhere, Central Cee mobs heavy in a kitchen and plays video games with LB in a home theater — D-Block Europe associate Lil Pino also makes a poolside cameo appearance.
Last year, D-Block Europe released their official debut LP The Blue Print — Us vs. Them, a chart-topping body of work that contained 29 tracks with additional contributions from Srno, Pino, Raye, Aitch, and Stefflon Don. 2020 also saw Young Adz teaming up with heavyweights Skepta and Chip for the album Insomnia, which saw a single assist from LB on “Demons.”
