At the top of the year Flo Milli, unveiled her “Roaring 20s” track, which quickly caught traction thanks to its undeniable catchiness and expert production courtesy of Kenny Beats. Today (Oct. 29), she returns to deliver her next single “Ice Baby.” The song isn’t a complete surprise, as she recently stopped by COLORS to share an attention-garnering live performance version of the track. On the freshly released “Ice Baby,” she rides over the ominous beat:
Hop in the car and I race (Skrrt) I see the stars in the Wraith (Yeah)/ Talkin’ my shit in your face (Face) I might just spit in your face (Huh?) blood on my shoes ‘cause they bled (Bled)/ On the runway, it be red (Red) you can’t keep me out your head (Head)/ Ho, keep my name out of your thread
So far in 2021, Flo Milli has been dishing out show-stealing verses left and right. Some notable apppearances include “Raindrops” with GoldLink, Kayla Nicole’s “Bundles 2,” Tay Money’s “Asthma Pump,” and of course, Yung Baby Tate’s “I Am.”
Flo Milli released her attention-garnering Ho, Why Is You Here? project in July last year, a 12-track body of work with no features to ensure her confidence shines. Flo has shared assists on numerous singles, including “Element (Remix)” by PJ, “Better Be” by Big Freedia, “HOT (Remix)” by Pia Mia featuring Sean Paul, “Mean” by $not, and her own singles like “Weak,” “Eat It Up,” and “Like That Bitch.”
One of the many reasons why fans are drawn to Flo is her confidence. In one of her recent conversations from this year, she spoke a bit about the importance of believing in yourself. “I was always going after what my heart wanted instead of just listening to people,” she shared. “I’ve had teachers tell me to come up with a plan B. I never really listened to anybody. I never listened to naysayers. I always listened to my intuition and this is where it got me.”
