Another weekend arrives with WSTRN bringing us another track perfect for any vibe. Today (Oct. 22), fans get to check out the PRGRSHN-produced offering “Never Leave,” which features additional vocals from Jamaican talent Lila Iké and is all about expressing loves over beautifully dancehall-esque production:

You na haffa talk in your belly, gyal, Are you really really ready, gyal? A me that ya gwarn run to, nobody do the tings how I touch you, me, I dey want to, when ya need me, know me gon’ ​come tru … all I wanna do is feed her, my sugar dumpling, that’s exactly why I need her, so I’ma put the work in, now make it worth it, if I don’t answer the phone, it’s not working, I will never leave you, girl, I just wanna please you, girl…”

“Never Leave” also comes with a visualizer that shows footage of the West London trio with their collaborator creating in the studio. Hopefully, an official video — even a live performance — will soon follow.

Back in 2019, WSTRN dropped off the well-received WSTRN Season, Vol. 2, which came with 16 songs and notable contributions from Unknown T, Miraa May, and SOB X RBE. Following Akelle’s freedom from his incarceration, WSTRN continued to feed their growing fanbase with singles like “Re Up,” “Wag1” with Cashh, “Come Around” with Flipz and Loski, and the dual release “Never Find/Armagidion.” Last March, WSTRN kept their momentum going with “Mama Stay,” along with a flashy clip showing the group with some beautiful women in a lavish estate. Add in “Wonder Woman,” “Be My Guest,” and — most recently — “Professional Love,” and you have renewed hope that a forthcoming project will make landfall soon.
